Why JOB1 will help you stick to a new fitness routine

Have a hard time sticking to that new workout program you planned? I’ve got a solution to break that cycle. Keep reading to find out why JOB1 will help you stick to a new fitness routine.

I’m going to start eating healthy, give up junk food, stop eating fast food, going to get up and workout every day, going to drink my water and get a good night sleep. Does this sound like your New Years Resolutions? Did you start week one, cut throat style and jump all in with ALL of these things?

And maybe you kept with it for a little bit, but then a week or so in, one thing slipped then the next and now you’re no closer to the wellness goals you started then you were in December?

I know this cycle. I’ve been there. In fact I think most of us have been there. It’s learning how to break the cycle and create a wellness routine that you can stick to for long term.

When I coach a new client through macro nutrition, they are usually shocked to learn that I don’t even introduce exercise until 4 weeks into our 8 week coaching plan. Why? You can’t change everything at once- and I want their focus to be on their nutrition before we start to add working out in the mix.

Have you read the Compound Effect? I’m always working on personal development because I believe our mind is the strongest muscle in our body. Anyway, I won’t give the book away incase you want to read it. In summary

Small choices + consistency + time = significant results.

If you want your wellness journey to stick, you’ve got to start with small choices, work on being consistent in that area. Once you’ve got that under your belt, add another small choice to work on consistency. And over time you’re eating healthier, working out, hitting your water goals because you didn’t try to change too many choices at once. This will bring results and not failure. How great would that feel?

So what does this have to do with JOB1 and.. well what is JOB1?

What is JOB1?

JOB1 is Beachbody’s newest workout program. It is a 5 class a week program, and every class is only 20 minutes long. Alternating days between strength and body weight cardio.

JOB1 is also the VERY FIRST with home cycling on the Beachbody On Demand library. Now, cycling isn’t part of the program- but rather some bonus classes to the program. This program is led by Jennifer Jacobs, former Peloton trainer- and if you’ve ever experienced the JMethod, you know how efficient her workouts are!

Check out this Instagram reel I posted, highlighting some of the exercises throughout the program.

How can this help you stick to a new fitness routine?

Because the classes are only 20 minutes a long, 5 days a week.

20 minutes is doable.

5 days a week is doable.

This program allows you to create a small wellness habit. After 4 weeks, you’ll be more in the grove at regular fitness in your life.

Plus these workouts are ridiculously effective. Not crazy jumps and all out insanity, just really really effective compound moves that get results.

Could you benefit from this? If so, I’d love to talk to you about your goals and how JOB1 could fit it.
