Move over chocolate covered strawberries, my strawberry energy bites are about to win over hearts! Packed with protein and natural sweetness, this is one recipe for keeps!
If you are around here, I have a big sweet tooth. Most of the recipes I share are of the sweet nature. Last Valentine’s I shared two of my favorite homemade chocolate candies. This year I’m sharing a recipe I made just for my husband.
When I make energy bites, I always go peanut butter, chocolate or both because those are my favorite flavors. I like rich and dark sweets. My husband though, he loves fruit sweetness. I decided using my knowledge on energy bites I would create a strawberry ball for him.
Using sunflower butter instead of peanut butter really lets the strawberry flavor come through on these bites. You can also use cashew butter to get the same effect.
So easy to make and so delicious!
