Whatever causes us stress, be small or really big, stress resides in our bodies.
Most commonly stored in our hips, because our fight or flight response is tucked in there.
Anytime we feel anxious, nervous, fearful, excited- our adrenal glands release hormones into our bodies.
Too much cortisol (the stress hormone) can lead to low pack pain, hips, and knees.
Stress also causes issues for our gut, directly effecting the GI track – and responsible for stomachaches, indigestion and heartburn.
This week we our focus is on letting go. Of the stress, of the expectations, of the past… Sounds wonderful and maybe even a little hard, right?
