How We Eat Matters

Did you know that it’s not just what we eat but how we eat can help aid digestion? Research shows that eating the food groups of each meal in a particular order can effect the rate of glucose during digestion. For fewer cravings, reduce inflammation and to avoid crash and burn post-meal try to eat your foods in this order when possible:

 

Veggies First

Protein

Healthy Fat

Carbs Last

 

Even though it’s rest day, I still want to encourage you to connect with your body for 10 minutes today. Go for a walk, have a stretch, yoga, meditate, have a dance party- whatever you’re feeling!
