Keep Santa healthy this year with my protein PB Blossoms!

 

Yes, cookie season is here. And maybe you’re like me and have a weakness for cookies. They are possibly my favorite sweet treat. 

Last year I was determined to make some of my favorite cookies healthier.. and this recipe turnout to be a big hit with the family! The kids have already been asking when I’m going to make my blossoms this season.

They are so good that I have to share. Pin it, bake them, try them- and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Protein PB Blossoms

a healthy twist on a classic holiday cookie.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup unsweetened creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup vanilla Shakeology
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 36 pieces dark chocolate Hershey Kisses unwrapped
  • coconut oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the chocolate kisses and stir

  3. Form into balls and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly spray with coconut oil

  4. Bake for 10 minutes

  5. Remove from oven and press one chocolate kiss onto each cookie

  6. TIP: gently press kisses on cookies IMMEDIATELY from oven; then let cookies cool completely before removing from pan.
