healthy is trendy!

Textured and soft, a little lace, and a chiffon bow; a top with pretty frills brings all the feels as winter drags on.

Gals, I have been in a little bit of a rut lately and I sortof want to blame it on winter? As much as I love a good pair of boots and a great sweater- about this time every year I’m over winter weather. I have been sticking to workout leggings and a sweatshirt as my #ootd because, well, it’s cold. When I do put the effort of wearing something other than exercise clothes I have picked this lace trim top almost explicitly.

I thought this was a sweater but after finding it online to link up in my affiliated product widget (ps, make sure you check it out- I’ve linked tons of 7 for All Mankind skinny jeans for under $80!!), I realized that this is actually just a top. The blush version I have is a thicker material with some texture and reminds me of a spring sweater.

Besides the color, what drew me to this top at the store is the tie back and lace trim. I really think the bow is so super cute. The lace trim is pretty but it is super delicate. I read a few reviews today on the top and it seems this is a common trend with this item. A little bit of the bummer but it is still a cute top for under $25!

A mix of soft and rich hues for is perfect for the month of Feburary. I paired with skinny jeans, burgundy over the knee boots and pink toned drop earrings.  I wore this top on a recent trip to St. Louis but paired with OTK black boots and to brunch last Sunday I wore taupe booties.
