healthy is trendy!

We are half way through the first month of the new year and I want to know how those resolutions are holding up? For me 2018 brings possibility as I shift  some major lifestyle changes! Hello 2018, hello possibility!

So, let’s start with the BIG gap since my last post. Where have I been? Weell, the Monday after Thanksgiving I resigned from my job- right at the beginning of the department’s busiest time of year. Then you throw Holidays and planning a 1st birthday party on top. Just for fun, mix in said almost one year old not sleeping through the night. All adds up to 5 crazy insanely busy sleep deprived weeks!  There were a few peeps from me on Insta stories and a couple of <3 to my girls. Seriously so busy not even time for social media- it has been nuts! Last week was the first week that there was not an insanely long to-do list to squeeze into the day and I finally had time to sit down and think about this site.

Tell me, how were your holidays? Mine was extended over many days which my son absolutely loved!

Now that we are caught up on why I went pretty much radio silence, let’s talk about 2018. For me, this is a year of possibility and adventure!  I am beyond excited to see how this year unfolds as my new role of stay-at-home Mom shapes into routine. We are just now starting to fall into anything that can resemble a schedule but it’s only been a few weeks. I am enjoying this more time with my littles; so far it’s been a great change for our family!

I suspect this site will more than likely see some shifts and slight changes with me through the year. As much as I love to connect and bring content that makes you want to come back for the next post- this is space was created as my outlet to share a few things of who I am other than a Mom. Probably a lot more casual outfits- already thinking about easy and cute spring shoes! But in all seriousness, I see some more realness and inspiration on managing the every day like efficient workouts for a busy schedule & not-so-bad-for-you yummy treats!

  1. Love your dress! Welcome back 🙂 I took a bit of a mental break from my blog since I too have so much going on, but it’s nice to be back!

    1. Being still within my first year of blogging, it’s tough to balance everything. I’m really hoping to get better at planned posts for busy times/vacations, etc this year!
